The plates are white on black plastic, so that they're the same colour as the car. I'm very impressed -- the dealership bought the plates for me and added the cost to the price of the car (so the lease company is paying for it!). Well, we (the dealer and I) were worried about the "XR6" portion -- if the ACT Rego guys think its a Vehicle Manufacturer/Model, they want to charge $3000! But, because we didn't specify which kind of the car the plates are going to be assigned to, it should be OK. Otherwise, I was thinking of BA 182 (I'm getting an NA XR6).
