Hi all, just thought id share with you my findings after having part of my exhaust changed..

Firstly a few months ago I had my centre muffler removed and after I had it done I thought it was ok a bit louder but ok.....after a while I thought it sounded pretty crap....

Luckily I started hearing a FFAARRRKENN annoying rattle at low revs that I thought was comming from the factory tip.. so I went to an exhaust shop and had it cut off for 2 x 3" stainless tips...

WRONG.. the rattle was comming from inside the rear muffler..

So instead of mucking around with the muffler I had a twin 2 1/2" pipe from the existing job back (From where the centre muffler was) into a high flow muffler and out into 2 x 3" stainless tips..

IT SOUNDS GREAT!!!! Get 100 times as many looks now..and looks mad with the 2 tips

Really throaty but not too loud.. a bit of a burble when u back off..

Total cost including labour and both tips $400.00

Not bad I reckon..the dude said it was for a BA XR8 I think??Dunno really but it sounds killer..
