The power was around the 240 mark but was losing power up high too early..

I think Simon should get away from that bad weather in WA and come over to Sydney for a few days.I have free accomodation and there are 2 dyno shops about 10 min away.. :spoton::spoton:

I think Simon should do that too! We can split his air fares, and then I'll make the trek to sydney to have my car finalized (valve springs and final tune)... perfect plan there mate!! now all we gotta do is convince Simon! or kidnap him!

So you have anotherwise stock auto T running 12psi boost with 245rwkw up from 160 odd.............sounds alright to me.

Looks like the tuner has given you a safe tune without being too aggressive and if it's falling over at the top end it could well be valve springs which isn't going to help with you 1/4 mile time.

You'll find the tuners that are delivering more grunt down low will be bringing the boost on harder @ anything up to 16psi. I think the advice they have given you re getting valve springs, exhaust (higher flowing cat) and injectors if you want more grunt down low reflects a reasonable and safe approach.

As for your 1/4 mile times, well there are way too many variables there to suggest that the power figures have to be bogus just because you ran an average time. It's unlikely that the dyno figures have been smudged given the base reading of 160rwkw.

So Jordak are you saying that the tuners that do the more aggressive boost down low arent a safe tune?I dont doubt the dyno sheets and the reason the power was so low standard was there was a problem with the EBC..

I agree that there are alot of reasons why the 1/4 mile and mph was low, could be my driving, heat soak, valve springs, the lack of torque down low etc etc..
