(Don't use Peddlers). Match them with some Koni Series 82 adjustable shocks and Whiteline sway bars front and rear. It will track like it's on rails and you'll still have a very compliant ride. the whole lot should come in under $3,000 and you've got $2,000 left for your engine mods. ford number 1 Donating Members 602 Member For: 20y 5m 3d Gender: Male Location: N/W Sydney Posted 14/03/06 08:53 AM Share Posted 14/03/06 08:53 AM If you have 5k to spend I would be looking at upgrading the brakes if you have standard ones,even if you just got DBA rotors and new pads,get edit and custom tune,valve springs and injectors etc..If you want to send me a pm I could take you for a drive in mine as im in Stanhope/parklea area and have done minor things like edit,custom tune,trans cooler,lowered,typhoon cai and centre muffler replaced with hot dogs.It is only a baby compared to some of the beasts on here but may give you some ideas.. Straight line speed in secondary, more interested in car balance and punch out of the corners.kings ssl and sl makes a pretty big difference in the twisties, I thought the car was alot more settled when changing direction (less of a boat) and the ride quality with 17's is still pretty goodThe best shop to talk to would probably be MRT in Rhodes, pm Link and ask him about his set up as its pretty much the ducks guts when it comes to suspension. Edit + custom tune = 230 - 250rwkw's (plenty of poke and hopefully no issues) - $1500Upgrade front and rear sway bars - try and get adjustable = $500 - $700Kings Lows front and SSL rears + koni sports shocks = $800 - $1200Aftermarket tyres: Goodyear Eagle D1 GS3's - great in both wet and dry, for a relatively cheap tyre. = $1000 - $1200orDont get the tyres and get a PBR upgrade for your brakes.You should have a top handling car with plenty of poke.
