Dr Z Member 378 Member For: 20y 11m 4d Posted 15/03/06 12:59 PM Share Posted 15/03/06 12:59 PM Interesting tune because of the way the power delivery has been managed. In the 110 to 160kph area there is a considerably richer mixture starting from 13.0 then sub 12.0 down to 11.5 AFR. Starting at 15 PSI and sliding down, in this 110 to 160kph area it may be about 12-14 PSI still? There's a lot of torque happening down low, which is what people enjoy most about their wogtune I guess. that's clearly achieved by lean AFR's and peak boost of 15 PSI, which while conservative for engine internals if boost is less than 16 PSI with AFR's not much higher than this, this low down torque is producing the highest stress on your box at high throttle applications. I agree that the box deserves the highest priority for next modification attention in order to maximise its functional and structural integrity.Wishing you the best of driving experiences...enjoy the harder, longer, spirited WHOOSH! Safe and happy driving...Dr Z.
