Isn't it strange however that it has come on months after I changed the steering wheel? I would have thought if I did something wrong the light would have come on immedietely after I did it?? Oh well. Booked in for Wednesday. Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/24018-airbag-light-on/page/2/#findComment-361422 Share on other sites

The car is still under warranty but they haven't seen the mods yet so a bit hesitant to bring it in unless I really have to.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Maybe not relevant as I have side airbags, but I get two quick flashes then a pause, and then the two quick flashes again, this repeats a couple of time until the light stays on permanently.I have found that the connection for the side airbag under the plastic panel to the right of the drivers seat is dodgy, and turning off the car, disconnecting the plug, and then reconnecting again will fix the problem for a while, but it does seem to return after weeks or months, so I may have to look at soldering the wiring to the pins in the plug, as I suspect the crimping may be faulty. It is the part that keeps the wires from getting tangled up when you turn the wheel.
