You've done pretty well Luke.

No cooler, no fuel pump and no modded auto and you've ran a 12.55 @ 112.84MPH.

I'm pretty happy with the results too :fool:

Not sure if I'll do anymore, yet.

What sort of dollars are you looking at for a decent trans cooler, and what sort of power  would you be looking at before adding one.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Not sure on the price but the bigger the better. Probably allow $300ish. I think any "T" that is modified should have one and definately anything over 250rwkw's. The style of driving will influence this aswell. Some people probably should get one when stock.

Geea. :fool:

BF XR6T valve springs are the same as BA

No there not. BF uses the same springs as Typhoon now.

they were upgraded from the BA mk11 onwards... from early 2005 I believe :fool:

BF Same as BA MkII.

BA MkII Same as BF same as BA/FF Typhoon springs.

XR8 Springs are different again, and restricted my car to 270rwkw.

Lukey, that's impressive mate.

So if I go the Nizpro Stage 1 Cobra package, will I be getting the 968 injectors or are they Nizpro's own?? and as some of you have said the BF has the same Valve springs as the Typhoon, do they really need to be upgraded or are they up to the power increases I'd be expecting with the stage 1?

Has anyone with an edited BF T or Phoon been in for a Ford service, have they caught on to the fact you've tweaked your machine? I remember during the discussions on the Ford site at the launch of the BF, one of the service reps who answered the online questions replied to a query regarding the edit that they were able to detect it with the BF. So would like some clarification on this.

I would suggest you ring Simon at Nizpro and talk to him about what you want to achieve.

I'd suggest giving both Rob @ HPF and Simon @ Nizpro a ring. Talk to them both about what you'd like to achive and go with who you feel more comfortable with. Either way you'll be happy.

bf xr6t are not the same as typhoon that's another rumour they are the same as all other xr6t mk1 and mk2

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Then why are the Typhoon and XRT head assemblies both the same now, but were different for BA. Previously the only different parts were the valve springs, now they are both exactly the same, because the valve springs are now the same. I should know, I build them.

After some of the early BA valve springs went soft Ford changed the specs on them to stop them going soft, but they are not the same as F6 as far as I know.
