It ends up costing more!!I had edit only... told myself till I was blue in the face that edit only is enough... had it custom tuned... and a few months down the track I told myself I NEEDED injectors, intercooler and cat done. I haven't opted for valve springs yet, as the money wont allow, but I am hoping that I wont need them just yet. Anyways, obviously it costs more in tuning if you change your mind then start adding more!!As a rough guide; 968s can be picked up for around $600 from site sponsor injectors online, cats vary, but I got a 4inch magic cat for $300 from magic performance, and I got an intercooler from ASE for $850... however, I'm lucky as I have a mate in the motor industry who is fitting all parts at very very below cost prices! Simon from extreme ford tuning has provided the tunes... and the parts will be finished today, and hopefully dyno'd tomorrow. Got some pics of intercooler install, and parts that needed grinding... its a long story and I'll post up when its all completed!

How much quicker would it really be (ball park figure) with these in addition to the tune & edit?I'll be waiting for your feedback once you've had the cust tune & edit and can't wait to hear when you start flippin the situation on the VU.So will the stock internals handle the extra kW without a problem with just an edit & tune?<{POST_SNAPBACK}>Its not so much how much quicker it will be, but how consistant and reliable the smooth power delivery will be, with edit only, you are at the the limit of injectors, which means comprimise and it all starts to go down hill from there. With injectors and valve springs you can keep the fat boost in torque and peak power going all the way to the top of the rev range, reliably with plenty in reserve. With the edit only, your right on the edge and have to live with a a shorter power delivery. Its a case of being half arsed or going the whole way and feeling way better about it. Either way you'll chop a tuned SS no worries.
