Posted 15/03/06 09:05 AM Share Posted 15/03/06 09:05 AM My TC works as per factory, even with 271 rwkws.I don't know what Nick did, but I can keep the boot in and it will fight until it gets traction and never disengages! Good too I reckon, cos with a wogified car, the boost hits and it comes on strong.

Rang CAPA and spoke to Scott, and was told that I already have the latest tunes. So I'm at a lose at what to do next! I also had a theory that some people reckoned was wrong, but I still think it may be on the money. I have the latest CAPA generic tunes and, so far, the TC seems to be working 'normally' ie under hard acceleration in certain circumstances, the TC light will flash on and off (indicating that it's working/limiting power/whatever) and then goes off again. So far so good. But I haven't really 'provoked' the car for a long time now. My theory is that when really provoked, there will be too much power/torque going through for the TC to be able to handle, under which circumstances it will disable itself. I still reckon that, even though my TC seems to be working normally now, I could get it to disable by doing something silly and really getting up it. It used to disable itself on my Wogtune, but I reckon that was because it was too much for the poor thing to handle. Although Envy-T's experience seems to conflict my theory? Street Tuner Member 727 Member For: 22y 1m 13d Posted 22/03/06 06:49 AM Share Posted 22/03/06 06:49 AM It really is as simple as this -The Flash Tuner must have three things in place -1) The correct processor code for the vehicle it is going in2) Torque module switch turned on3) Minimum engine torque allowed set to stockIf all these things are done, then 100% the traction control will work under any conditions, regardless of power output. All of the current generic tunes feature items 2 and 3. So, I repeat myself CAPA do not have the latest versions of the tune in the Flasher.

Seriously though, even with the high power settings currently used in mine, the TC works exactly as advertised.Dingah
