Sure the BF has the 6 speed auto which is very good and bigger brakes, but I thought the BA 4 speed auto was okay, too. However, changing up to the Terri brakes was probably one of the best moves Ford made in the BF. My standard brakes in my previous BA XR6 had shocking shudder.When my current BF T goes out of lease in about 18 months time, I think owning a BA T privately will be very affordable indeed! So I guess there are going to be a lot of good deals around soon for buyers who are astute - I'll be looking for leather, premium brakes, Blueprint, low mileage and stock. It is great for people buying second hand cars but it sucks for those selling them. I think I will need to change my user name soon.
