Guest Guests Posted 08/03/06 03:19 AM Share Posted 08/03/06 03:19 AM Good afternoon,Hopefully the answer is as simple as the question sounds, more so out of curiosity but should it be achievable without too many headaches then I'd consider having it done. For those out there that have an idea as to what needs to be considered in implementing a switch, to allow input from the Unichip one minute and should there need be a reason to run the vehicle in a 'factory form' Can this be done?Regards,Darren Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/23900-unichip-the-flick-of-a-switch/ Share on other sites

I have seen connectors that can switch around 20 or 30 pinned plugs from one connection to another.Go and talk to a shop like Dick Smiths, and if they cant supply one, should be able to point you in the direction of someone who can. Plugs into the harness, it runs on the factory pcm/ecu.You could factor this into your harness, but what a job.. If you want 'instant power', get an exede with one 'map' with no values set in it, flick the switch to your second (modified ) map and you have a modified car.
