After reading all this I reckon I'm luck as hell. I just turned 24 and pay $677 a year for full compo on my XR6T.  :msm:

Who's this with? I just got myself a BF Turbo, I'm 24 and the best I could find was Just Car for $1045.

RACV, I was 23 when that policy was taken out.

 and I'm still being shafted... 24yrs old and I pay $1900 per year (just cars). Not only that, the value has gone down to 32k.. and the premium is the same. I have a clean record, no claims except for 2 months ago :spoton: it makes me mad that people my age are getting insurance for a lot less. Even people younger then me get it cheaper!!

Are there any tricks when talking to the company??? Can you bargain with them? My next premium is due in July... is there anything I can do to help them lower the price?? Defensive driver courses etc??

No tricks to dealing with them, if you bend the truth and they find out you have no insurance anyway. Ring around everyone you can and see what they all have to say. I'm assuming where you live has a fair bit to do with your high premium?

Dude im younger than you and the MOST I ever paid was $2200 including mods with justcars.com.au

Now I only pay a bit over $1000 for my MODDED T with RACV (they recently changed their moded car policy) but I have a perfect history (I am younger though).
