The verdict is in

Need your opinions.

car has done 32k..

the finding is a clutch plate with hot spots which Ford say will do another 30k.

(normal wear and tear apparently)

waiting on price now as it will not be covered by warranty.

How much should it cost to replace?

Is it worth replacing?

is this normal? (they reckon most drivers would not have noticed the variance in the clutch/pedal)

HELP

Hey shazza after just pricing a non geniune clutch kit for the turbo I do not think you want to know.

I can not believe the price.

Just for the clutch kit alone is about $1200.00 dollars.

ford replacement is about $1700 just for clutch

Definately not right there, considering the whole female driver thing as well.

Can't the clutch plate be purchased\installed separately though? Or is it an all-in-one jobbie?

Clutch is an all in one jobby!! (apparently)

thanks mark and cobra..

I am thinking ford put it all back together, and investigate putting a stronger set up in some time soon.

It took me 18months to do 30k and still have 20 months till the 3 years is up

SHAZZA.....

Something not right here. I'd be making very strong representations to Vince.

It should be totally warranty. If its broke its broke.

DO NOT accept it that it must be paid for.

I'll happily make representations on your behalf if you need help.
