The Beastie is sick!!

Car is in today to "investigate" the problem.

Here is my description of whats happening or more to point NOT!!

clutch feels like a wet sponge when depressing or releasing,

cannot define a take up point

gear changes not smooth at all.

Ford blokes description last week was ... "its a bit how ya going"

I would say the pressure plate has lost it's pressure and be come weak.

Shaz you make sure that they fix it under warranty.You dont exactly flog your car that hard to warrant breaking a pressure plate.

The dealership has been excellent all along, so I reckon it will be all good :stirthepot:

The chicky babe said when they know what the prob is , if necessary they will keep the phantom for a couple of days next week and give me a car to get around in .

god I hope it is a phoon :gooff:

I did notice a white GT sitting around doing nothing

I had the whole range loaned to me while I was waiting for my car to be delivered, a Fiesta, Focus and Mondeo. I reckon the Focus 2 litre manual was quite a good car. The Fiesta was a lot better than I expected it to be.

You can destroy your clutch by either 'flogging it' or by 'driving like a woman'. So, you don't flog your car I understand.......
