I believe this is what BADXR6 did, and he netted a 12.1 and huge mph like Simon.

Bugger about busting the CV Simon, but that was probably to be expected with the track being prepped. The previous times I raced the car was struggling for traction; this time I managed to bog every run.

I'm not having to shift into 5th, but am crossing the line at 6000rpm in 4th. The diff ratio in the 6-speed manual is too low for drag racing. Next time I go down I'll run taller tyres, which hopefully reduce the effective gearing, helping the car run a quicker time.

Considering I've increased my mph by 2 mph everytime I've gone down (114, 116 and now 118) I'm confident I'll be able to run a 120mph pass at around 12.4 - 12.6 et, all the while still retaining the factory manifolding and stock engine next time I go. From my point of view, it's not rocket science to achieve this, just careful attention to detail.

As mentioned by blueboost having your own software (as I do) is a great advantage and allows the end user to continually make little changes and tweeks, resulting in constant improvements.

It's good to see these cars run the big mph they're capable of

Blueboost uses an Xede with the edit that's how he can tailor his tune to suit the track. And he is well experienced at drag racing in my opinion.

So long as Simon belted the antiquated mongrel thing, who cares what a Clubbie Driver thinks. I reckon lots of them will be thinking they wished their crapcans hadn't devalued so quick, so then they could afford to trade up to the Real Performance Thing.

Bad luck Simon, but look on the bright side, soon the workshop will be up and you will be able to loiter and work in comfort with your beasty.

Hope 333 still has all its CVs when I get back and pick her up tomorrow :spoton::tease:

See Ya about 2pm
