Trying to tell my cousin overseas about the XR6 T and he asked how much horsepower it has. I told him in KiloWatts.

He has no idea.. and I have no idea how to 'convert' them.

anyone know? or does anyone know the number in HP?

Does anybody know how to convert cubes to litres?

For example, a 351 cube is 5.8 litres

a 302 is roughly 5 litres.

so what is a 378 cube?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

rough is to divide by 60.

so 378 is 6.3litre.

that's only rough though.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

61 will be even closer.

Or you could use 61.024 and be almost there .... @6.2 litres

:blush::spoton:

Dont forget to add 12% to the score after the 1.34 kw to hp conversion as the dynos in the US read 12 to 15% more than the aussie dynos. Dont know the scientific explanation but Im 100% sure of this.

1 inch = 2.54cm

therefore: 1ci = 2.54x2.54x2.54 = 16.387064cc

hence 378ci = 6194.310192cc...roughly :spoton:

Here is the only conversion tool you will probably ever need.  Converts everything, nicely categorised.

Lumpy's calculation is spot on.

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

That's damn handy, cheers for that  Good stuff!!!
