Might be worth while taking eAccelerator, mmCache, or even the Zend cache. I noticed the server is gzip enabled, that's bound to help a little. The down side is forums usually tend to be fairly bandwidth heavy by nature..there's only so much that can be done before the pipes have to be upgraded.
