I tried to find the quickest manual ute in qld a while ago I have done 12.8 at 117mph and couldnt find anyone quicker in qld.... any takers yet

I have done a 12.3 @ 118mph with a poofy 2.4sec 60ft and gay gear changes. That was when it had "only" 355rwkw's. Nowadays, I just don't feel like breaking anything. I know how quick it is, I don't need to prove anything over 400meters. Track days are another story though. :spoton:

Maybe when upgraded cv's are available.

Manual sedan break things.. :spoton: CV's are expensive at $3k or whatever they are for you beaut unbreakable ones, and they haven't been tested, or installed on anyones car yet.

Utes have to put up with the leaf springs turning, twisting etc, but the rear is stronger. They suck to get off the line as the weight isn't nicely balanced. Mine without the h/cover and tailgate was a pig to try and drive on the street ( impossible ) and on the track was even harder to launch..

Easy, Quick times = Auto sedan, 4spd or 6spd auto..

and ute drivers are better..

Give the WA boys a month!!!!!!!!!   Theres about 5 battling it out.......2 of which are ute's.

I aint got enough grunt to go 11's. Consistant 35 degrees aint helping either..

Yes - fastest manual is F6 ute with I think 11.89 - Simon from Nizpro ran his xr6T ute at 11.91 with a 2.1 or so 60'

When will we see yours run gogo?.. There are some big HP manuals that have come out of Nizpro and other workshops, but not many have ventured to the track just yet... ? Not that it's the be-all and end-all of performance modification.. But we all love to see them get down the 1/4..

Would be good to see some more big powered Manual sedans give it a shake. It will be interesting to see who is the first Manual SEDAN into the 11 sec bracket, as the only two to have made it are UTES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The odd thing is, all the 'quick' XR6T's are all auto Sedans.. ????

Is there even a genuinly street driven 10 second XR6T ute??

go the utes.. :stirthepot:

My best, and only 11 sec pass was to date 11.87 @ 115mph on the last meet of the season!!

No Hardcover, No tailgate. No S/S license saw me exit from the track..

Season opens again in September..

:)

Dot worry I found it.

I would build a 11sec XR6t manual but anyone can drive in a straight line, fast is a different story but I prefer circuit skills, drifting and such. that's where skill is.

But I would like to see a bloody fast xr6t manual anyway, coz I own one (not bloody fast though but enough for now) :P
