Your dead right with the front bolt............I looked at it and threw it as far away as possible so I never have to consider putting it back in!!!!

As for the results.......well I had no difference in economy, power, turbosmart blowoff noise etc..... which is what I expected. But will be useful for future power upgrades.

Went into my local Ford Dealer (in New Zealand) and they have quoted me $190.00 for the inlet...which is robbery. The figures I've seen quoted here are $55-80.00. I'm looking to but one from Australia becasue even allowing for exchange and freight I'd be far better off.

Can you guys help me with the name and phone number of a good dealer.

Which one is the better out of

BA2T 9C676 A (Typhoon)

BAF 9C676 B (XR8/XR6T?)

I will be gettin one this week and wondering what the differences are??

Thanks for the info Kaine, picked up f6 cai for $95 and k&n filter for $141 from local dealer and repco. Spot on mate, took about 30mins to fit and turned out smiko, cheers.

Will this fit the BF NA version (the 'phoon part)?? Any should get a K&N filter or the like????

Nick, you can't even see it unless you look hard. It's just an extra intake into the existing airbox that leads under the pax side headlight - gotta open the bonnet to see it. From the 'front end', you wouldn't even know it was there.

Typhoon cai is the only way to go....my mate had a SS reductions one that melted shut on him :spoton: ....

Cost be $80 and used a dremel to cut the hole and perfect...can hear the bov a bit more and it sucks a bit harder...

The front bolt yeah ummmm....somewhere at the brizzy tip...lol

Has anyone used the APS CAI. The cast metal one that feeds into the bottom of the air box from underneath the headlight? Any idea of the cost?
