you make a similar one out of the XR8 snorkel and some 100mm rubber plumbers pipe... the mouth on it is a little wider then the typhoon one and cost is only about $70 in total for parts and then you need about 1 hour for your time to install it. (goes under the headlight).

I dont see anypoint in spending money on the typhoon one when you can make an identical one for a lot, lot less and it looks factory.

ring around some dealers will sell the typhoon intake without any dramas.

The typhoon intake looks alittle more factory than the xr8 one jetute my opinion I got my typhoon intake from cityford for $80 as one of the forum members suggested them.

Does anyone know if the Typhoon style intake is avalible aftermarket ?

Or is it best to increase to size of the stock pipe with people like SS INDUCTIONS

go and buy a typhoon snorkel; and fit it to your filter box take 30 min's

Some dealers will require you to supply a Typhoon Vin number for a FPV part. Just do what I did, copy one down from a new Typhoon ( I got mine from carsales.com :nono: ) and rock up with that!
