I find that the standed pipe work can give very missleading imformation.

it doesent just limit power because of the size of it, it also is very prone to heat soak, especialy at the drags, because the only time it gets good air flow is the last half of the run.

my car has produced 274 rwks on the dyno @10 psi, but I have taken it to the drags on a hot day, and still heat soaked, and it has run 108 mph.when I checked my nexus boost gauge, it did not go over 8 psi.

but then I have sat it there to cool down and on the same night have ran 114 mph.

the xr6 has many ways to detune it s self, oil temp, air temp, +

putting the standed pipes back on,will strangle the boost, if I am not mistaken, the difil pipes are 2.5 inside, and the standed pipes close down under 2inches in some places.
