That's what was happening to mine, Zap.

Check to make sure that the clamp holding your hose to the intercooler is tight. Once this was remedied, my boost needle went through the guage!!

Nah that's a pretty good review in my opinion.. But he failed to realize that the tyres on the Phoon are already 245/40 18s, (in the article he said that they were were 235/40 18. I dont think he realised that the six has more than enough to smoke up the 245s :spoton:

I cannot understand why reviewers cannot get over the V8 thing, it seems like you must have a V8 to be an Australian performance car

Hey :spoton:

I have to agree with you though Mal the new F6 Auto is a very special car and if I was buying a new FPV again it would be F6 for me :tease:

I would have to agree also. I love my Mk2 GT and have no immediate plans to replace it, but if I was ordering a new FPV today it would be a full loaded BF F6 auto.

Fair review, but I cannot believe they liked the boost gauge...

I am counting the seconds until I can install my electronic gauge set.

I have hardly noticed the boost moving as it is sooo  slooow.

Still I would not swap my car for anything under $120k, and then I would want some cash as well

Mal, once the edit is installed you will find the boost guage like a second tacho.... it slams hard to the right just as the chimes come on . Usually within a few seconds.

All reflexes from there :spoton:

I am replacing the factory gauges as I like things to look right and actually display some meaningful info.

I will need to check my hoses as the gauge is very lazy, it moves slower than the oil pressure, so it may be a problem.

I do not plan on editing this car as I need my warranty and also need to get 5 years out of it.

This will be a new record in my car ownership as I have never had a car longer than 3.5 years, and by then it was pretty tired.

In theory, one could purchase a $46,000 XR6 Turbo and spend around $15,000 on it, which would probably give it 'Phoon-besting performance.

Probably... hes gonna have a lot of change with that budget..
