Well my wifes Barina died and went to god and because I missed my GU Patrol so much(still love the T) I decided to get a another 4WD (Small).

I settled on a Jeep Wrangler, (with a few mods) it has one of the best power plants ever made, (Chrysler 4lt six) it's a 1999 model with only 69,000 km on it.

3'' lift, 31'' tyres. Old Man Emu suspension etc.

Wheels are US Racing Mags

And it's BLACK :spit:

130 kw and 300 nm so it gets up and goes (piggy back and mods to come)

So here's a few pics.

Regards

Gary

Jeeps are sweet, I used to have a small block chev in my jeep renegade, 35" tyres, 15X10 eagle racing rims, lift kit, thing used to go everywhere and with that much traction could get the front wheels of the ground if I lauched it hard enough.

No I don't think so, I believe it's the slant six they used in many Chrysler cars (including Valiants) over the years.

refinements are electronic ignition, fuel injection, computer etc.

They used the same motor in the Cherokee. (now has a V6 and Diesel)

Gary

Very cool car Gary, but I am intrigued by your comments on the motor. :spoton:

I had a friend who bought a Wrangler just like yours (the same colour even) and he said that the 6 cyl petrol engine in his Jeep was slower but used far more fuel than the petrol engine in his previous car a landcruiser ute.

The 4L Jeep motor is a side cam pushrod motor is it not??? :spoton:

We have bailed out many other 4wd in our adventures.. :pooh:

Mate can actually tell you from which weekend the layers of mud on his car come from.
