You should NEVER have them down, only lets the hot dusty air in and the clean cold air out :spit:

OK, sometimes I slip mine down so I can hear the exhaust :msm:

OK,OK and KFC drivethrough :spit:

There are plenty of alarms which can put the windows up for you... they are also available to start your car remotely, and notify you if something happens to it (via a beeper).

The AUTO down function cannot be re-controlled to be AUTO up (if you saw the circuit board you would understand why) :spit:

I think it's actually kinda dangerous... maybe there is something in ADRs about australian produced cars not being allowed to have auto up??

Most of the auto up windows have sensors, similar to your CD drive, so that if it feels more than twice the normal resistance, it stops the window and goes back down again.... Well the liberty seemed to do that last time I remember (but I don't make a habbit out of sticking my arm in the window to stop it as it tries to go up....).
