I still can't justify even going and buying a second hand F6. If I was big on modification I wouldnt bother worrying about warranty anyway and work a T. You can get the same performance of an F6 for less $, hell you could even make it a tranny for less $. But then you would be one of the hunted lol

This gives the benefit of exclusivity and a factory warranty. As you can see on this site, many people can make more power than 270kw reasonably easily from an XR6T- but often dont have stronger rods to protect the motor, and will usually have to replace the clutch (for manuals). The Ford parts are probably not worth the extra 15 - 20k extra - but, if you want an improved factory standard car, or a better platform to start modding from and have the money to spend - then maybe it is worth the extra. They seem to be selling well..... draw your own conclusions. Is a Ferrari worth all that extra money? It is called the law of diminishing returns.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>perfect! this is exactly the type of info I was after. Thanks mate.

Sound, Sports leather seats and Prem. ICC, no side airbags (altho as you say, they are still an option).

That's one of the main things which attracts me to consider an F6, (more for novelty value than anything else). What is it which you don't like about that?(Like you, I think I'd De badge it as much as I can).

That is what I would get if buying new - that or a GT and get HPF to twin turbo it!Main three reasons for me would be:Stonger engine internals means more power up to 370 - 380rwkw without opening the engine rather than 330rwkw on the XR6T.Bigger brakes - especially with the brembo package standard on the phoonsclutch can handle a lot more power, and can be modded rather than replaced to go even higher. Then their are the additional bits standard such as climate...Still - sticking a manual in your car would cost heaps less...Good luck whichever way you go!
