Im considering getting a new BF typhoon 6 speed manual

Im not going to hot it up to the level of my car just a good 350rwkw or something for everyday

Just wanted to know peoples opinions now I dont want a ford vs Expensive Daewoo crap just people opinions on whether they think the typhoon is worth the 70k on the road or whether its just an xr6 turbo with a different body kit and just not worth it at all

please no wars :stirthepot:

A modded T will always be a Fast T and a modded Phoon will always be a Fast Phoon so what do you want a T or a F6

F6 for me anyday

Having a T myself and driven just about every late model ford available in Australia in both auto and manual (actually havent driven a any BF's!!!), I'd go the Phoon.....and definately over a T if money was not of first priority. Think wisely about manual vs the auto though....id say that's your biggest decision in the ford stable right now.

The Typhoon wins hands down. I've owned a turbo as well. I've also had other production vehicles (both in Australia and the U.S.) and without a doubt, bang for buck, the Typhoon is it.

If I was in your place Adam - I would be popping a 6 speed manual and big clutch into your current turbo - and detuning to the 350rwkw level (keeping all the goodies on) Your car is already better than a Typhoon in all areas (maybe chuck the big brakes back on). The only thing it doesnt have is the F6 status - but the First 9 second status lives on - and is something different.

Having owned both, I can say the F6 wins hands down, but what Cobra said also makes sence if you want to go for a manual.

I do not see the point in loosing so much money on trading up from your current weapon to a F6 is you are going to buy a manual.

The F6 seems to be made for the ZF auto, so this would be the choice of gearbox in that car.
