A lot of the the options are put on at the dealers, the fiddly stuff, like scuff inserts, steering wheels, gear knobs etc; so don't panic too much. I did with the premium sound as the photo in their brocures was of the Fairmont version, which is different to the XR version, once that was explained I breathed a lot easier.

Hello everybody, it's midnight and I have just got home from work and I am very tired so I apologise if this is all over the place.

I took your advice Turbo 6 and rang Toll. They told me that it was in transit, and on a truck. I know for a fact that it left on Sunday, however because of security reasons Toll couldn't tell me the expected day of delivery. I would expect it to be at the dealers by tomorrow. But hey, I give up I don't know whats going on anymore.

Turbo Dave I bought mine from Southside Ford at W'gabba. Did you buy from there too?

Tiger691 I would have thought that if it is in a holding yard then it came up by ship. I suppose if it came up by truck then it would get delivered straight to the dealer. If it came up by ship it will be at Hamilton Wharfs I'm sure.

Well, all I can do is hope that it turns up with all the right options and hearing what other people say it should be worth the wait.

My T now 10,000K old and a GREAT car. Came by ship from Ford to Southside...the wait is worth it

Very Very happy with dealership as well...their service dept is in expensive and very efficient

You will find a fault though in that your cheeks are connected to your right foot...foot down and a grin appears!!

Mine was on the back of a trailer, not a cargo hold of a boat.

Bought mine from BBF as well, Whistler (Ben Ruxton) was our salesperson. Well I've told that story before. could have got a cheaper price elsewhere, hell, maybe cheap enough to opt for the turbo instead of the NA but in reality, I wouldn't deal with anyone else in Brisbane after the service I received at BBF.

It's only a matter of days now....... ;)

Ordered ours at BBF, Mt.gravatt.

Salesman, Simon Miller, was fantastic.

No BS, just straight facts, and that's the way we expect sales staff to be.

Would have no hesitation in using him again.
