I love to hear this stuff. Still can't bring myself to buy an auto though. It'll be a manual Phoon for me. Drag racing isn't my thing. I prefer a blatt around Wakefield Park.

These times are great but I have some trouble getting used to them as they seem to be coming in quite regular of late.

I had the BA F6 Tornado and was running over 300rwkws and the best I could muster was a 12.7 @ 114

I now have a BF F6 Typhoon STD and the BF Tornado with @ 300rwks and as much as the Ute is heaps faster than the Typhoon, It don’t “feel” that fast and the Typhoon STD feels more a mid 13 maybe? But it’s hard to tell by the seat of your pants with the smoothness of the transmission and I’d say it’s a bit deceiving looking at some of these results.

If the STD version is good for 13.1 then I “should pull a real good time in the Ute as its smashes the STD BF typhoon … ….Traction will still be an issue and may even make for a slower ET but higher MPH.

I would have had the answers last Wednesday if they didn’t cancel the meet at the Plex and now to make matters worse they forecast 38deg C for this coming Wednesday.

I might still run regardless of the heat just to get some numbers up to toss around. :spoton:

Nizpro dynoed a standard BF Typhoon and it measured 247kw ATWs standard which is more than a standard 297kw clubby. So the time wouldnt be just attributed to the great auto. Seems they have more power now as well.
