Was there any 2 ton Utes with 290rwkw do 120mph, 11 second  pass’s

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

There was an XR8 ute running a supercharger. I think it has 300-310rwkw's. It managed a best of 11.4@120mph. This was Chris from BluePower.

Dave's car ran a best of 11.8 with a best MPH of 119. The dyno sheet said 303rwkw's but Rob@HPF said the dyno still wasn't calibrated properly and the car probably had closer to 330rwkw's. When these cars were running it was 35C ambient. Chris matched his best or close to it. After driving Dave's car I think that it could probably go a bit quicker both MPH and ET.

Geea. :spit:

So the quickest BA ford was a V8 :spit::pinch: :glare:

Look forward to the Big Vic weekend in winter this time :glare:

The quickest BA Ford was sitting in a factory in Dandenong. :glare:

(Not including Adam, Spiro or Steve who were never going to run last night).

I too am looking forward to doing my community service by showing the Sydney guys a great time. Tuning, Kittens, BBQ, Calder and Heathcote. that's the makings of a great weekend.

Going to take up tuning now Craig?

And I believe Deano bagged BBQ honours for this years "Big VIC Weekend."

Thanks to everyone that turned up, it will be a regular thing once a month from now on and we will have the infield.

Heat slowed the times down Craig and me had a bit of fun in my car because his car was sick and tucked up in bed, Craig got the fastest time in the car @ 11.8 and I got the highest speed @ 119.94 MPH so the car went ok, if we could have gotten both things to work together we would of had low 11s for sure even in that heat not bad.

Looking forwaed to the next one and some cooler weather.

Dave.

Bugger, I thought I had it in me.

Friday night, a virgin run.

First run, got to excited and let go to early, top 2 lights come on and I go for it. Forgot about waiting for the green lights, didn't load up and forgot to turn traction control off :+1:

Second run, made sure that traction control was switched OFF, but forgot to load up, ran a 13.2 @ 108. I was really disappointed with that time until I realised that I didn't load up, so it wasn't so bad.

Third run, traction control off, loaded up, but was loadinf for too long for the other car to line up, with my auto box being standard. By the time we were ready, stall up again, bit of wheel spin off the line 13.4 @ 109.

Weather was too warm, and disappointed with my times, so I didn't run any more  .

Thanks Luke for letting me borrow your helmet, I wasn't sure if I was going to run, but thought since I was there I'd give it a go.

Hopefully next time I can run a 12.6 like you Luke, as we have similar output. If I can't, that must mean that I'm a :+1: driver.

Daniel
