Delivery Date When Do You Expect Your Xr6?

I ordered mine but what I wanted they had one in QLD already, so it only took 10 days for them to ship it down.

I ordered mine on the first working day of this year and finally get it tomorrow. Popularity of the 6 speed auto was the reason given for the extended delay.

I just got the dealer to find a ute I wanted on a Tuesday and drive it out the dealership that Friday.

I can imagine 6 weeks or more being about right at the moment. Dealer said there was a halt in XR6 production for a while to catch up on some Territories.

My options would make it a custom build. Hope it arrives before my trip interstate in July though.

And yes, the VW Jetta was a serious contender for a spot in my garage. I doubt I could explain why in this forum

Mine was a 6-speed auto too (see my sig). Did you have any unusual options fitted?

Only significant one was the luxury interior pack.

I ordered mine on 29/9/2005 and took delivery late in the month of February this year....

depends on the options you chose as to when it will be delivered.

White seems to be a rare colour (for the XR6), so it goes down the list of priorities..

Sunroof is put in at FPV (2 week turnaround), leather, etc etc

Mine took 9 weeks.. After being guaranteed 4.

I had no trouble waiting on the 6 speed. About 10 days all up and well worth it. Bye bye manuels.

6 weeks ago I asked how long it took for an XR6T to be delivered from new.

Now I know - six and a half weeks. Picking it up in the morning. (novated lease so no point in giving the price)

In case the options make a difference to delivery times:

* 6 speed auto

* Luxury Interior Pack

* Side Airbags

* Alarm

* Shockwave Blue.

I've been reading these forums for a while now so I know what to expect in terms of faults and quality.
