Delivery Date When Do You Expect Your Xr6?

My dealer quoted me 6 to 8 weeks on the T and delivered in 5weeks.

You will most likely find one off the floor with your spec. If it needs to be build, The factory shuts down over the X-mas break so ????

thanks for that, I wasn't sure whether dealers get them in stock with the audio upgrade, plus I get to choose my colour so we'll see how we go. I wanted blueprint but that's out, so it'll probably be shockwave now.

regardless, I'm still chuffed at getting an XR6 with a fuel card (inc private usage) for nothing, no rego/ins/maint to pay at all!

well, I was... just noticed today that colour is available on entire range, not just XR/Fairlane.... bugger! might look at Envi as wel now, I've always been a green fan.

Hi all, great site!

I'm a Expensive Daewoo man by nature, but I love the new BA XR's, way more bang-for-buck than the VY/VZ commodores, and the XR6's look WAY hotter!!

I've accepted a new job with a company car of my choice up to $40k - you guessed it, I'm going for a N/A XR6 MkII.  I'd love the turbo, but they won't spring the extra dosh for it, major letdown.

Now, what's the normal times from order to delivery?  The only options I'm getting are the Premium sound upgrade and a tow-pack.

Can anyone give me an idea?  Thanks.

Wow. It's actually arrived at the dealership. Wonders will never cease.

Apparently I'm picking it up on Friday, but I'll believe that when I can see the dealer in my new rearview mirror.

Put in an order about a month ago for an XR6T and I am now having trouble getting a delivery date. the prob is that the dealer just isn't calling back...

did other ppl have this prob or is this unusual???

I know that I have only had to wait a month so far, but it's more the fact at this stage I don't have a delivery date to look forwards to... (Basically the wait is killing me...) :violin:

To give you an idea,

called monday, was told I would be called back - but never heard back

called tuesday, was told I would be called back - but never heard back

called today, was told I would be called back, have now called the dealer twice today and still nothing...

Head into the actual dealership and demand they call the production site and get some details..

Its always so easy to fob someone off over the phone.. People dont like saying no to irrate customers when they are in their face..

Get your SIDO first, then keep calling dealership and threaten to cancell order if they dont get back to you!

There have been massive delivery problems since the BA first came out.

My first XRT (as well as others here) took about 6 months to be delivered.

On my 2nd one I got the dealer to make sure delivery was within 4 weeks, if not I was to get a hirecar. This was put on the contract, and I had a hire car for 1 week
