Yep Just happened to me. I am stoked but. Mine was three weeks early obviously not as early as yours but.

The reason was that someone else ordered the exact same spec car but their finance fell over so they said I could have it. Of course I took it and had the biggest smile on my face all the way from Brisbane to Cairns. :D

Yeah, I think I'm in the same boat - someone else's car, not that it matters.

Oh, well, it's back to the waiting game...

I ordered mine mid September and was initially told it could be up to three months. In the second week of October I got a call from the dealer and was told 31st October. I asked whether the car was coming direct from factory or had they found one at another dealership and was told straight from the factory with Oct 03 build date.

It was ready to collect right on time on Fri 31st and the build date is definitely OCt 03.

Both of our cars were delivered when we were told by the dealer. If your dealer is honest you shouldnt have any problems, if you end up in a situation like VG with his dealer though, l could imagine it could get very annoying.

A good dealer should have nothing to hide.

Miles out. 6 weeks different from original quote and it was almost as if they were daring me to cancel so they could sell it for full retail.

I had the reverse situation. Ford was playing cloak and dagger because apparently they ran out of leather to trim the seats, but wouldn't tell dealer's what the hold up was. The dealer actually asked me to ring Ford becasue they were just getting stonewalled. Ford Customer was a mixed bag. Two of the people I dealt with were useless, one was the single most competant customer service person I have ever dealt with.

Mine ordered through Strapp Ford Doncastor, really good service there, despite initially being told four weeks, and then having the car take eight. Not the dealer's fault though.

I think I aged 10 years in that extra four weeks though!

Overall, a very stressful time!
