Delivery Date When Do You Expect Your Xr6?

At various time in these forums I have heard that aFord is having supply difficulties with:

Leather interiour

Premium Sound

Sun Roof

Alloys

Suspension

Tyres

Surely everybody can't be right?? Or can they?

I think you are correct.

A guy from FPV just told me that they have 3000!!!!! cars in the transit yard awaiting delivery.

That couldnt be XR's, l thought they were making about 400-500 month.

You would need a big field to hold 3000 cars!

when I got my laser serviced a few weeks ago

I was talking to 1 of the guys at ford and said they r selling 200 odd XR's a day and can only produce 90 a day

Hey,

I ordered my XR6T in Dec 2002 and I have been told by my dealership that it build start date is the 15/3. They have estimated that I would take delivery on the 26/3, but after reading I doubt whether I would be getting it on this date. I too am getting premium sound, sat nav, sunroof, leather, auto 18" SILOUHETTE. I am a little worried now.

Wondering, how long it takes from the time your car is "actioned" ( I think that is "fordspeak" for starting to build) to delivery time? My pursuit apparently starts it's birthing, creation, (whatever), on Thurs, 13th March .... Do you think I'll get a drive in this financial year??.... Advice appreciated.

Well my Blood Orange XR6T goes on the production line on the 12th March (Today) and gets delivered to the dealer on the 20th of March so you are looking at 8-9 working days.
