Delivery Date When Do You Expect Your Xr6?

Going by the print-out that I have, my car line up date was the 24th & final assembly was 28th. So 4 days.

No I am not a fleet buyrer. Big on options and price. I am sure thaty the dealer has added my car to his allotment somehow rather than allocate one of his standard cars to me.

But to complain now? I don't know if it's a good idea. Theoretically I have six more weeks to wait.

All,

Spoke to the stock controller at Westpoint Ford today. My delivery date is early March.

He said this will probably be delayed until late March.

Key reasons are that the factory do not have premium sound systems, sunroofs, leather.

Many dealers have ordered std cars but people want options and this is pushing supply out until May.

The XR6 and XR6T have sold 50% over forecast.

Westpoint have taken an order for a GT-P and cannot give a delivery date

Frustrating but worth the wait

My car was due on the 1st of Feb. I am ringing the dealer tommorow and if he hasn't got a delivery date that is firm I will cancel my order and buy a M3.....

I can get one of those by Thursday.......

Fleet owners.. how long have you waited for your car? I have to order my XR6T so that it will arrive beginning of July. Would early April be a safe bet?
