VICTORY, I now have a SIDO number and my dealer advises the car will turn up a month early in Feburary.

I'll have to wait and see if he is pulling my leg.

They say another shipment is arriving later tonight! "Please be on it"!!!

Given specific instructions for the sales rep to visit the shipping yard and thoroughly check the damn thing to make sure all the options are on her.

AMOffat, any news on your car. Have you considered changing dealers...there are cars out there especially if you are a retail buyer, which IIRC you are. What state are you in? (I'm sure you have told us but I forgot)

I will probably wait it out. I'm in the middle of preparing my house for sale and making an offer on another. The car is important, and I still feel like I haven't been told the whole story - but with work family and now the house thing, there is only so much you can do.

I did ring the Ford Australia Customer line on the ohone and a nice bloke offered to act as an intermediary between myself and the dealer. I have kept this option on hold for the moment.

This attitude will change if it spins into April. Then I'll ask for a Royal Commission.

I too got "THE" call yesterday! Instead of March delivery, my car will now be ready early Feb. Great news! But now I will have to pull my finger out & sell my AU3 XR6.
