Congratulations to the 2 blokes who have got their cars.

Mine has finally arrived at the dealer.

He tells me it will be registered next week and I can have it Wednesday.

I don't think that is world record time for registering a car but at least I know I will finally get my hands on it. Can't wait.

At last the floodgates have opened.

I got my car 6:00 Thursday night.  WOW.  What a machine.  This is a great car.  I have not found 1 fault with it.  The gearbox is very nice.  Quick shift.  A tight cluch.  Very responsive.

How quiet is it, can you hear the turbo singing away?

Just how hard does it accelerate?

What sort of running in did your dealer recommend? etc etc etc B)

Glad to hear you like the manual, we too went for a manual. l have read more negative than positve comments on it, but having not been able to test drive a manual its good to hear you like it. Couldnt bear the thought of an auto, l have had enough of the auto in our TS.

CJF should have got his car this afternoon, looking forward to hearing his opinion also.

Hey all you guys that have got your cars, are these the ones with sunroof problems or not. Mine was ordered on oct 20 with 25th Nov delivery but it has been delayed until dec 7 due to my sunroof problem . it would have been as late as feburary unless I got the dealer to fit the sunroof rather than getting a factory fit. so I told them to fit it at the dealer,they promised it would be exactly the same as the factory fitted sunroof but of course im a little sus. anyone have any info on this???

Congratulations to those who have taken delivery of their turbo's. I just found out mine went in to production on the 26th November and I should have mine between the 10th - 15th December. I ordered mine on the 12th October frpm Duhig Ford in Essendon. Ford offered me a free 24hr test drive of an XT which I currently have in my driveway. I love these cars and for a base model they are great. Can't wait to drive the Turbo - Mine of course. :lol:

Whoops. I voted and then realised its for Turbos and I'm only getting an NA XR6. But news from Davo is that the build date is tentatively set for... TOMORROW! WooHoo.
