I also heard the traction control is not the best in the XR6T.  The car can still get away from you in the wet.

I personally prefer it that way - gives the LSD a chance to do it's thing. I tend to drive more cautiously in the wet anyway.

What thing is that? I still don't know why I have it. Except to lay two marks on the road instead of one. :D

Get maximum power to the ground by distributing torque to the wheels that have the most grip (makes no difference if you're going in a straight line of course)

Traction control actually cuts power to maintain traction. Allowing the LSD some lee-way to get the power down will help you corner better and allow you to leave two marks on the road that criss cross :D

Sounds like everyone has a long wait.. ive been told Wednesday dealer delivery and in my hands Friday.. we will soon see...

l dont know what to believe on delivery anymore.

Dealer calls this morning to say he will get the car sometime Wednesday, and we would be right to pick it up probably Monday. Then get an email from Davocol (Dave) who works at Ford not one hour later saying the computer system shows the car not getting delivered to the dealer until 4/12. GGrrrrrrrrrr.....

Apparently there is a backlog at FPV waiting for the premium brakes to be fitted, but does anyone REALLY know?

My car had a delivery date of the 19/11 so I phoned the dealer on the 20th. Still no car. They then told me it should be delivered on the Friday. Nope. They said they had just checked up and it will be leaving on the monday. Nope still sitting at Ford. It's now the 26th and the car is on the Toll truck. But why is it going to take 3 days to get from Broadmedows to Melton? I was told that the car will be at the dealers on Thursday.

Does any one know what the hold up is on the XR6T? I havn't seen any on the road. I have seen plenty of the XT and the XR6's but no Turbos.

Maybe I will get the car before the end of the year. :lol:

Mate I dont know what your worried about.. my car was due on the 16th November.. but delays after delays I have been told now that it was on a truck as of yesterday and i should get it tomorrow or by Friday..

So hopefully I still may be the first on the board to take delivery! :D

Disable the odometer (just one wire!!) then test drives for all their mates...that'll take up 3 days I'm sure.

Seriously though.....it does seem a little excessive. You'll still have yours 4 months before me at least :(

Mine is 2 months late. The dealer still has not got the car. Are they pushing the car to the dealers? How long did they they tell you it would take to get to the dealers? I would hate to live interstate. If it takes 3 days from broadmedows imagin to perth or darwin.
