Delivery Date When Do You Expect Your Xr6?

First time poster, short time reader, Order my Xr6 Turbo at the start of this month, Delivery date is 19th of October to the dealer, hope to have it shortly there after. Order a XR6 Turbo ute, Manual in Winter White. Cant wait for it to arrive !!

Hi guys. Ordered FGII XR6 Turbo Ute, black, XR Luxury pack & hard lid. Dealer said for me to expect delivery...... Wait for it.... December 24th!!!

so last week I went into ford to buy my self a new 2013 fg mkii xr6 turbo manual in winter white all go ahead loan approved trading in my old ba xr6t ... so I get a phone call to day saying do you want the good news or bad I was like bad first ..he said ive looked everywhere and cant find you a car in you color or any color for that matter so I was a little hart broken thinking that in not going to get a new car then he said did you forget out the good news I was like what is it ? he said what im doing for you is we will give you a new 2014 xr6t for the same price we said to you and with all the extras at no cost ..... I was blown away but the other bad news is that I have to wait a month to get it so in January ill have a new car ! what do you guys think ?

and to add to the bad news just got done by them stupid mobile speed cameras not speeding in a bad buy but saving my car from being smashed .... oh well sh*t happens !

My story is near identical. I ordered a manual turbo ute at the end of November - white, no extras except ladder racks, tow pack and tinting and was given a delivery date of 31 jan 14. I am getting it through a salary sacrifice lease so didn't speak to the dealer. Because of Xmas I expect it to take even longer. I am really hoping that I get a 2014 model as I want to pay it out at the end of the lease and keep it.

When I spoke to a local ford dealer he said that most yards don't have turbo utes and any around are autos. This yard (Winford, Windsor NSW) didn't have any turbos at all and said that they only sell 2 falcons a month (utes and sedans)! Even though I don't get to take my new manual ute on holidays this year as they are a factory special order despite fords advertising, it looks like a manual ute will be quite rare in the sad days after the new falcon is just a memory....

Mine took six weeks, XR6T manual, lux pack in winter white. Arrived 20 Dec 13. Been two weeks but loving it so far, came out of an XR5 Focus.

how does it feel stepping up into the fg xr6t manual what are you thoughts about it and dislikes ? but over all great car to drive

If your referring to me Corey, I'm loving it, I've always had bigger cars and really never settled in the focus, but saying that it was good value at the time. As for the falcon, I can't wait till it's run in so I can really give it a gutful . The only thing I don't like are the wheels and am thinking about putting some 20's on, leaning towards the status 818 retro.

ok well I pick up my new T tomorrow afternoon and the run in possess starts a few hill climbs and a run throught the nasho park or mac pass :D im so excited :D
