Got the oil and filter changed, even though FPV reckon it's not necessary.I'm a big believer in mid-service oil changes so will keep this up as long as I own it. I'm getting the gearbox (coffee grinding machine ) noise in first and at low revs in 2nd and 3rd. Having it checked by my dealer. The most probable outcome will be that the noise will be considered a characteristic of the car (just like the surging in cruise ) and will not be touched by Ford. 2005 XR6T 6Speed Manual. Would also like Goldies contact info if avail'?CheersJohn
