Retrofit Climate And Premium

Can the Climate control system and the Premium sound from a BA Ghia, be fitted to a plane jane XR6t?

Would it be a simple Plug'n'play operation, assuming you had all the necessary cabling and computers etc?

There are premium sound upgrades available - do a search and you will find it (might even be a site sponsor?).

I was told by the dealer that the climate control was not retrofittable - but I am sure anything can be done at a cost.

Yep, he's right, anything can be done if you have the necessary $$$$.

And you'll need a lot of $$$ to do it too, full dash out to change the heater box over.

If you need to ask how much it will cost, you can't afford it.

I can get hold of a complete Fairmont Ghia dash.

and wiring loom, heater unit etc?

You'll probably need all the engine bay wiring loom as well, because the Dual Zone has the outside temperature probe as well......

You could probably upgrade by swapping the car keys from another car - and handing your credit card to a dealer.
