Fitted by my Ford Dealer and have had plenty of support from them. Very happy with the result. I'm not sure about the dealer honouring the warranty, but you will need to check your insurance company. NRMA got quite anal about the air induction system. By the way, you can hear yourself think whilst driving with the JB (Gennie!!) exhaust system.Street Car- Nizpro edit & tuned 270++ rwkw 2005T, 6 speed Man, metal cat, K&N Filter, 2cai, Walbro fuel pump, JB Sus/Ind/Exh. Posted 28/03/06 01:14 PM Share Posted 28/03/06 01:14 PM Had a look at the web page, the suspension, brakes are sold as "looking cool"they take a different tack with the exhaust...that makes your ncar "sound cool"probably not the way to advertise a performance product to temp me.... The exhaust and induction noise sounds cool (along with the extra go) but I rate the lowering and suspension kit as the best bang for the buck. It's a totally different car to drive, its so responsive to steering corrections it's almost like a gocart. I wouldn't have believed this was possible the car feels so much tighter and postive. Perfromance wise it seems to spin up faster than it used and has noticably more punch down low. All in all a happy camper_________________05 Shockwave XR6 Turbo
ZAP No boost, no bottle, just my foot on the throttle! Lifetime Members 7,935 Member For: 20y 11m 5d Gender: Male Location: Sydney Posted 01/04/06 12:34 PM Share Posted 01/04/06 12:34 PM I bet you it is not good bang for your buck as it is VERY expensive gear if you put it side by side with after market gear. The dealers make HUGE profit on essentially aftermarket gear that JB puts his name to.They also rely on the asumption that you will still have a warranty if you pay a fortune and have your dealer fit it.That said, It is still good quality gear and I hope your car is now cool sounding and looking
incito Member 20 Member For: 19y 22d Posted 01/04/06 08:07 PM Share Posted 01/04/06 08:07 PM Yep agree it's not the cheapest...but It's about inline with equivalent kits in New Zealand. I could have bought it as inividual componets but even though some of it is advertising hype...it's good to know they guy stands behind it as a package and that's what I'm buying a package that is promised to work together. This is the same theory that you would apply to an APS Stage 1,2 or 3 kit you're not just buying components you also buying the R & D that went into match those components. In New Zealand we're somewhat at a disadvantage due to the smaller market..seems everything is dearer here. For exampleBF Falcon XR6 CAI AUD $60-80.00 NZD $180.00Bootlid Mat AUD $40-60.00 NZD $180.00Having said this I have purchased a short shifter from Mel Woods for my previous XR8 Sprint but for any bulky freight and exchange rates seem to kill it.I'm not chasing outright power (and as been noted theres far cheaper ways of getting it) I'm purchasing a bolt on kit that from my perspective has totally transformed the way the car handles along with an increase in power that is noticible this is while at least trying to keep my factory warrenty intact. At the end of the day each to our own...as I said I'm more than happy with the kit and I would recommend it.Stuart

I am in Wellington. What is in the suspension package? I assue springs and swaybars?edit: I looked at the website:John Bowe chosen coil spring rate and height at 20mm lower than standard vehicle in exclusive silver colour John Bowe camber and castor kit with exclusive bushingSo... the same King springs painted silver, and a castor kit. The bushing - how many people have replaced suspension bushes with Nolathane? Good results? Edited 03/04/06 12:30 AM by cobrav8
