I think this kit is only good for a fast streeter. If you want to go

racing at some serious speed buy something else. I guess you can buy all these parts straight from their respective manufactures and cut out JB anyways.

Any more feedback on the John Bowe Kit.... I'm considering the Exhaust, CAI, Throttle Body and Suspension Kit for my BA II XR6 Turbo...Agree there are a lot cheaper ways of going faster but I'm after a Fast Street Car while maintaining a reasonable chunk of my Factory Warrenty. Been quoted NZ $4700.00 Fitted which makes it pretty much the same as going the equivilant kit for Herrods, or SS Inductions

I would NOT get JB parts because of warranty reasons.

Dealers have been denying warranty ANY MODS, be it after market or dealer fitted.

It seems that Ford is rejecting any claim made on any modded cars. I have read about gearbox claims being denied due to car back Herrod exhausts.

If you want to mod, accept that there will be a strong chance of the driveline warranty being voided.

If your dealer says that the driveline warranty will be honoured if you get a JB Exhaust, get it in writing.

It seems the the rules are different this side of the ditch...I've been told by the dealer that Ford NZ in general are a lot less anal than Australia....we get claims approved that would never even be considered by Ford Australia. Both the dealer selling the kit and the dealer that I normally deal with have stated they would have no problems in supporting my Warrenty Claims except for the upgraded items of course and these have their own three year warrenty.

There does seem to be a significant gap between Ford Australia and Ford NZ.

Yep and I trust the word of my dealer.

One thing I've noticed while on the forums is the low opinion and negative feedback you have of your dealers over there. Maybe is just cause we're a smaller market but I have nothing but praise for the way the Three different Ford Dealers have treated me.

I'm not saying they're perfect but I know they value my custom.
