I have been doing some work on the car the past couple of days, both under the bonnet and under the dash.

I am worried that I have knocked a plug for the Traction Control as everytime I start the car the TC light is on, and pressing the TC button does nothing.

I am hoping that someone has done a similar thing and found a fix for it.

I have checked the plugs under the dash, and under the bonnet, but I do not know where to start.

I feel I might need to take it to Ford to see what the WDS says. :spoton:

Start by disconnecting some of the connections (one by one) you have recently made under the dash - maybe some of the ACC or IGN sources you have used are related to the TC switch and you might have interrupted the circuit.

Thanks 6man, I know I have not upset any power as it is all taken from the mobile phone power source.

I think I will need to consult my BA service manual to find where all the wiring goes.

Ding,

Diddn't touch wheels, but I did run a wire through the front right guard.

I used a cable chaser, and this could have unplugged something.

I had this problem on my T - turned out it was one of the rear wheel sensor leads had touched the tyre, worn thru the plastic covering and shorted out.

Replaced sensor lead to fix.
