Sorry dude but I live in Sydney.Just drove down for a few days.

Oh well... worth a try! The only modded T I've been in is Simon's ute and I don't think that is a car I should be using as a guide to what a stand alone edit goes like vs edit/inj/springs as it's got the whole lot and more... and then some more after that... :hammerhead:

Seriously its a different car. Its goes like a scalded cat but if funds allow go the Cobra stage 2 with the I/c plumbing,pod filter etc.It gets rid of heaps of plumbing,puts the intake right next to the turbo which would reduce lag big time.

But I am as happy as a pig in mud with edit,injectors,valve springs.Go for it,you wont regret it.If I was to do anything else it would be bigger brakes to stop the beast,decent rims,springs and that would just about do me.

Auto or manual ? Im pushing around the same power now myself, if your keen to run it down the strip we should hook up one wdnesday night mate ..

Got the dyno graph handy ? Wouldnt mind comparing..

Hi Silverman,

I met you quickly at Nizpro on Thursday. That's a pretty good result (+100 kW) for a Stage 1 upgrade, enjoy. Certainly transforms the car, and make driving much more enjoyable. The only problem is once you get use to it, you'll be hungry for more. :fool:

Sorry we didn't get a chance to talk for longer.

Now I have the smb dump/cat with centre muffler removed with straight pipes I need to quieten her down a bit.If I put hotdogs on will this stuff the custom tune/edit?? If I put the centre muffler back on will it stuff the custom tune/edit ??

The car is a bloody pleasure to drive now and has lots more grunt everywhere.Any more power and I will have to start upgrading internals etc .

Hi silverman,

Im looking to do the very same mods u have done to your car, ive pretty made up my mind that nizpro is where ill get my edit and tune done. If possible could u post a dyno graph of your results, Ive got a BF with the ZF6speed auto, does any1 know if it will be able to hold the power of say 300rwkw without being modded in some way?

Also would it be better to upgrade the intercooler before doing any modifications so it can eliminate the bottleneck at say 270rwkw?

Hey Silverman,

Mines been done at Nizpro as well, but I don't have the larger intercooler. However I am running a new tune at the moment which is at 270rwkw. Previous tune was at 285rwkw. The 270 doesn't kick as much as the 285 did, but it's not slow either :nono:
