Some problems with the car CANNOT be fixed and we need to accept these "features" about our cars, while a 2004 model car should not clunk and whine from the driveline, just accept they do and do not affect the performance or reliability. You can get worked up about a problem, and I have in the past, but it does not make any difference, the dealer will be less inclined to fix something if you are threatning them as they would hear it all the time and know 99.9% will just give up.If you are having a problem that your dealer cannot fix, I suggest you try another dealer or a real mechanic as there seems to be a lot of "factory trained technicians"..read not mechanics that work in dealers as there are a lot of apprentices. They have very little real fault finding experience and will say they cannot find a problem if it is not on the Ford service computer. Selling a car because of minor annoyances is not the right way to look at the fixing the problem, instead save your sanity and get it fixed properly and never use a dealer. Fast Ford XR6 Member 18 Member For: 19y 10d Location: Melbourne Posted 20/02/06 01:46 AM Share Posted 20/02/06 01:46 AM Hi All.I am hoping someone here may be able to provide me an email address to either David Flint (MD of FPV) or Roger Grey (Marketing and Sales Manager FPV).Please don't post it here though. Better to PM me with it if you can.I owned my Typhoon only 11 days before returning it for a Tow Pack, some reverse parking sensors (for the wife before you all ask ...) and some 'Warranty work' and I have now been without my car for nearly 5 weeks. My local Ford dealer doesn't seem that interested in my concerns and I am sick of being treated like I am the one at fault.Time to complain to management I think. I am hoping they my be intersted. I am so over this now I just want my money back.If anyone can help me out with an email address of one of the guys or someone that may be able to help I would be really appreciative.Sorry for the gripe, they are still awesome cars and all I just don't think it is fair I worked hard and saved for as long as I did just to be treated like this.Time for a change ...Cheers.Mortoyz<{POST_SNAPBACK}>OMG I couldnt believe what I was reading, that's terrible. Let me see if I can help. My husband is the Body Shop Manager for a Ford dealership and he would be able to look into this on why its taken soooo long to fix and if anything has happened to the car while it is been at the dealership. Please PM me with details about your car, like what dealership, what rego and I can get him to do a search on your car. I dont know if you know this but everything that happens to your car is listed on the Ford website even if its been in a crash by someone from the dealership. I can get him to do a search and see what has happened. I have only just found this message that you have written and I hope that Im not too late. Let me know if I can help.
