Aim high, why waste cars that are inferior? Aim to take down cars that you think may just beat you, cause then when you win you'll be chuffed. And if you lose, well theres your motivation to get all modded up.....

Chippa... you have come to the right place for all your questions, all you need to do is have a brouse through all the forums and see what you find. You will get answers to what is an edit, what are good cheap mods, where can I get stuff... etc etc

Welcome to the forum and to some of the best driving experiences you will get. Feel free to ask around what you are not sure of, but just have a quick search first as your question may have been answered recently

Hey,

I just bought myself an XR6T 04. I previously had an EL XR6.

What I want to know is how quick are they really, compared to other Standard road Cars. I want to know what I can beat. I knew the limits of my EL XR6 so I wouldnt take on anything that I couldnt beat..  But I want to know how the Turbo goes against, SS, WRX, 200SX's , etc... I want to know from people that have driven and beaten other cars... Obviously the fun in having the car is to test out for my self, but I want to have an indication as well...

Your safest bet is to NOT drag with anyone - especially on the street. Not only might you get beaten which I'm sure is going to cause you extreme heartache - you might also lose your car depending what state you reside in.

OK now that is off my chest - to the madhouse. You've got plenty of reading and "search"ing to do and all your Qs will be answered.

spend $1500 and there wont be too much you have to worry about on the street.

$1500 will get you the edit ($950) and custom tune $300-500.

what were you worried about again, SS, S200, wrx

Spend a bit more and you'll be beating some of the quicker bikes too. You should see the looks on their faces. Priceless!!!
