Hey guys!

I'm getting an edit done on my T in a couple of weeks (yes Rob aka Mr Turbo...finally!!! The Prom cruise was a major factor...) and was just seeing how happy you guys are with the edit and what it's like to drive day in day out...

Nizpro will be doing my edit and I CAN'T wait... I'm taking the day off work when it gets done so I can fully enjoy my newly edited car :kissmy:

I have a manual too, so does the manual drive any different? Will I wreck my clutch in the short term?

Is it going to be a tyre fryer? Remember I have 20" tyres to think of... am I going to go broke buying tyres in the short term?

Looking forward to the replies...

Jack :kissmy:

My T5 T had 250rwkw edit and I only got clutch slippage once on a cold day under WOT.

I never launched it, but once the clutch gripped, it held.

The gearbox was fine as well, I had the edit for about 8 months before the car was traded.

It will all come down to how hard you are with your gearchanges and launching.

So I have been saving for it... but I am still going to have to keep on saving for it aswell even after it's done...

I have a manual edited T.... its extremely fun to drive.... im about to get my 3rd clutch though

How long have you had your car for with the edit?

My best mate has a VU SS ute with F1 performance edit, full exhaust (4 hotdogs no mufflers... LOUD and K&N cold air intake making 244rwkw and his car is heaps faster than my car now... before his edit we were door to door at any speed, be it standing start or roll on in any gear...

Will I be able to beat him now?

Please Please let my car be faster!! There are bragging rights at stake here people!!! Until he get 3.9's... and then I'll need injectors and valve springs... and a gearbox upgrade :kissmy:

I'm not a mad bit*h on my car, not a burnout person... don't wanna break

it... :nono:

What does WOT mean? Sorry if it's obvious...

Jack :kissmy:

You should make around 250ish or more at the rears in a manual I would assume.

Makes em pretty fast.

Would reckon you'd be neck and neck with your mate again, if you can get the power to the bitumen

Given the T is somewhat heavier, only one way to find out :msm:

The T with the Edit is a whole new car. You should organise a drive is someone elses with Edit. OF course once you do, then you will want your car at Nizpro the next day.

I bought my edit in dec 2004... ran it in my ute for a while.. I then bought a sedan and have run it in that since about may last year... got it tuned in july-august somewhere around there

Ok... late 2004... so it's not in the last 6 months that you have done 3 clutches... it's only the last 12... I don't wanna trash my car... but secretly I think I want to :msm::spit::laughing:
