I know it depends on where and how you drive but on average, I'm guessing the GT has to be thirstier. My XR6T over 95,000kms reads about 11.3 which is pretty damn good for a performance car.<{POST_SNAPBACK}>I avg between 18-21 L/100 around town and best of 11.3 L/100 on the freeway to melbCYA JEFF <{POST_SNAPBACK}>Yeah they are not flash on fuel around town. Doesnt worry me as I am in a small town and stretch the cars legs quite often Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/23253-typhoon-or-gt/page/5/#findComment-348045 Share on other sites

If you're happy with a relatively stock GT, maybe a couple minor mods, then I'd probably go the GT, however, if you want to mod the car and have a beast for a relatively low cost (compared to GT) then I'd go the phoon for sure!! I know that's what I'd be doing, as once you've had the edit, there's no going back!! And I'm sure all the members here who have experienced the edit and minor mods for big power with xr6t and phoon will agree, bang for buck, you cant beat the turbos! But if you dont wanna mod, and are happy with the current performance, then the GT looks and stands out very well! I've got the thumbs up from the wife and kids and it looks like a Typhhon in Rapid is the way to go. I will take a GT for a spin but I think the upgradeability of the F6 is a winner (and I can feel a few mods coming already !!!) .I'll keep you guys informed !!Anyone interested in a Limited Edition, 100 only, Black GTO ... I know a bloke who has his name on one !!! <{POST_SNAPBACK}>How much for the GTO? Where is it ordered?
