car went ok for an auto, had to look after the brakes (man id like to put brembos on mine).

Top day guys good to see and get amongst some different cars

Duncan that monaro handle like it was on rails good setup you've got on it mate

1st time at Wakefield not to bad a track little bit bumpy and is a good small car track but still fun,next one we might see if we can do an Eastern creek day and really get to stretch the legs on the main straight:msm:

I was happy with the way the GT went considering its an auto, weight and the Kumho's I put on the front were squealing like rob's mum and I will post up the vid that Ms700 did while we where being timed and you can tell we were'nt going for lap time's as we were breaking traction and giggling like a couple of girls

Highlights for me where turn 10 leading onto the straight and the hair pin at turn 6

Cro as per usual trying to catch me but lost it big time at turn 1

And catching up with Trumy,Cro,Mick,Shane,Greg,Muzza,Jeff,Darren,Duncan

I also managed a 1:25.6 in the wife's Hyundai Elantra.  Even rounded up a BMW 130i until things went to  .  It's going to cost me $900 .  Not sure if I can afford to go again at that rate.

I may be interested in giving it a go one day but not if the walls are too close to the track. Can't afford to break the car. From forrestd's video it looks like the corner at the end of the straight is the place to really keep an eye on things. What sort of speed do you guys reach?

150kmph to 160kmph at the kink. Don't know what speed I do there on NOS, when Im doing one of those run Im just trying get the braking right, one day I may have the balls to look down and check.

Wonder how much the accommodation costs are on track at Wakefield.

ha ha ha -yep, after all the raps and build up surrounding your car ... after I had passed you I was expecting you to push me a bit and I really thought you'd have me for top end pulling up the hill to the top of the track. So here I was looking for you in the rear view mirror, thinking you might be making a move on me, when lo and behold "where the hell is he?" - Oh, there he is back down the hill right back there! OH sh*t lookout! There's a corner here! Moral of the story ... watch where you're going and don't worry about slower cars.

And by the looks of Ivan's times even HE was quicker - hang your head in shame!!!

By the way, to put those times that turbomuz posted in perspective, the T3s were lapping in the 1min 14s bracket.

AND, that video from inside the Munro is VERY good - nice driving and very nice smooth lines - well done Duncan!

Its about $50 pp per night for the cabins, I think they sleep up to 6 each. I am told the insulation in the cabins is rather lacking and it gets VERY cold in winter.
