Why would you be able to "smoke" my auto when others with similar mods / power levels (circa 250rwkw) have already posted ET's up to .5 second quicker than you have run in your 320rwkw tyre fryer? I had my 6-speed manual pegged out at 5800rpm in 6th gear not long ago, beats the heck out of the driving the 1/4 mile.I prefer circuit racing to drag racing any day, hence the reason I bought the manual. I love my XR6T to death, but I have no doubt shes no circuit car, drag car, easy, but circuit, that's what little jap cars are for, like my last car. This manual vs auto thing is funny, it follows the same principals as the XR8 vs XR6T arguement, just as silly really. I drive an Auto XR6t, which is in getting the auto tricked up for some hp, and have been in APS's old test mule (the fastest Falcon, 300kph or whatever it was) and I can see where they are losing the battle, apart from the launch, the drop in boost between gears almost rivals my old Twin Turbo Legacy for a boost hole.
